Al-Ghazi Tractors Reports Half-Year 2025 Results – Records Loss Amidst Challenging Market Conditions
Karachi, August 22, 2025: Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited announced its financial results for the half-year ended June 30, 2025, after the Board of Directors’ meeting held through video conferencing. The company reported a significant downturn compared to last year’s performance.
For the period under review, the company posted a loss before tax of Rs. 137.22 million, as against a profit of Rs. 2.83 billion in the corresponding period of 2024. The loss after tax stood at Rs. 75.16 million, sharply contrasting with a profit after tax of Rs. 1.73 billion in the same period last year.
Earnings per share (EPS) dropped into the negative at Rs. (1.30) for June 2025, compared to Rs. 29.90 reported in June 2024.
The Board did not recommend any interim cash dividend for the half-year ended June 30, 2025. This is in addition to the interim dividend already paid at Rs. NIL per share.
The results reflect the challenging business environment, rising costs, and demand pressures faced by the tractor industry. Analysts suggest that recovery in sector sales and easing input costs will be crucial for future profitability.
