Askari Bank Reports Strong Half-Yearly Results, Announces Rs. 2.0 Interim Dividend

Askari Bank Limited (AKBL) has announced its financial results for the half year ended June 30, 2025, showcasing strong profitability growth.

The Board of Directors, in its meeting held on August 21, 2025 at Rawalpindi, approved an interim cash dividend of Rs. 2.0 per share (20%) for the half year.

The Bank reported a profit before tax of Rs. 27.88 billion, up from Rs. 16.31 billion in the same period last year. Profit after tax rose to Rs. 10.70 billion, compared to Rs. 8.14 billion in 1H-FY24.

Earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs. 7.38, reflecting growth from Rs. 5.61 a year earlier, supported by improved margins, stronger advances, and efficient cost management.

The results highlight AKBL’s solid financial performance and continued commitment to shareholder returns.
