Gold Prices Hold Steady in Domestic and International Markets

September 10, 2025:

Gold prices in Pakistan remained unchanged on Wednesday, with the per tola rate standing at Rs388,100, matching the record high touched a day earlier. The price of 10 grams of gold was recorded at Rs332,733, according to official market rates.

On Tuesday, bullion had surged by Rs4,100, pushing prices to historic levels. Silver also maintained stability, with the per tola rate at Rs4,358.

In the international market, gold prices held firm above the critical $3,600 per ounce mark. Spot gold traded at $3,644.54 per ounce, while U.S. gold futures for December delivery hovered around $3,683.

The precious metal continues to draw support from expectations of an imminent U.S. Federal Reserve rate cut and investor caution ahead of key U.S. inflation data this week. After reaching an all-time high of $3,673.95 per ounce on Tuesday, gold’s outlook remains underpinned by strong safe-haven demand.
