SBP Reserves Edge Up by $34mn, Reach $14.34bn
KARACHI:
The State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) foreign exchange reserves inched higher by $34 million on a weekly basis, standing at $14.34 billion as of September 5, 2025, according to data released on Thursday.
The country’s total liquid foreign reserves were recorded at $19.68 billion, with $5.34 billion held by commercial banks.
“During the week ended on 05-Sep-2025, SBP’s foreign exchange reserves increased by US$ 34 million to US$ 14,336.3 million,” the statement said.
A week earlier, SBP’s reserves were reported at $14.30 billion.
