Pakistan Stock Exchange market closing summary showing KSE-100 Index at 174,054 on 31 December 2025

The Pakistan Stock Exchange concluded Wednesday’s trading session slightly lower, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index settling at 174,054.32 points, down 418.47 points from the previous close. The market remained volatile during the session as investors opted for profit-taking following recent historic highs above the 174,000 level.

Despite the overall decline, trading activity stayed strong. Total market volume reached 414.43 million shares, while the total traded value stood at Rs. 33.33 billion, reflecting sustained investor participation.

On the volume chart, KEL led the activity with strong buying interest, followed by PIAHCLA and PIBTL, both closing in positive territory. Meanwhile, selling pressure was observed in TSBL and WTL, which ended the session lower.

Overall, the session reflected cautious sentiment, with investors reassessing positions at elevated levels while maintaining focus on selective opportunities.
