Treet Battery Joins Hands with China’s Highstar to Introduce Lithium-Ion Technology in Pakistan

Treet Battery Limited (TBL), a division of Treet Corporation, has signed a strategic agreement with Highstar Digital Energy Technology (Guangdong) Co., Ltd, a Chinese energy solutions provider, to bring lithium-ion battery technology to Pakistan.

The partnership marks TBL’s entry into the fast-growing lithium-ion battery segment, complementing its existing portfolio of lead-acid batteries. According to a notice issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the collaboration aims to meet the rising demand for energy storage solutions in the country, particularly driven by the growth of renewable energy and electric mobility.

Treet Battery, already established in manufacturing automotive and backup power batteries, sees this as a major step toward diversifying its product portfolio. The company highlighted that lithium-ion technology will help strengthen its competitive edge, broaden revenue streams, and create long-term value for its shareholders.

Management noted that the partnership with Highstar positions TBL to capitalize on opportunities in renewable energy, sustainable power systems, and electric vehicles, thereby enhancing investor confidence and future growth prospects.
