US Consulate, KPOGCL Discuss Investment Prospects in KP’s Oil & Gas Sector

Peshawar | August 18, 2025 — Officials from the US Consulate Peshawar held a meeting with CEO Nasir Khan and senior representatives of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil and Gas Company Limited (KPOGCL) to explore potential investment avenues in the province’s oil and gas industry.

According to a press release, the discussions centered on harnessing Pakistan’s untapped oil and gas reserves as a means to drive economic growth and ensure long-term stability in the region.

Both parties agreed that fostering such partnerships could not only strengthen bilateral economic cooperation but also contribute to the shared vision of prosperity for Pakistan and the United States.
