The United States remained Pakistan’s largest export destination in December, with shipments valued at $537.56 million, marking a 6.5% YoY increase from $504.59 million in the same month last year, according to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) data.
China ranked second with exports totaling $233.09 million, marginally lower by 0.2% compared to $233.49 million a year earlier. The United Kingdom was third with export receipts of $191.56 million, up 15.8% YoY from $165.42 million.
The UAE (Dubai) stood fourth with exports amounting to $166.69 million, reflecting a 6.5% YoY increase.
Among European markets, exports to Germany rose 6.5% YoY to $145.33 million, while exports to Spain grew 7.5% YoY to $133.31 million. Receipts from the Netherlands reached $130.93 million, up 7.7% YoY.
On a sequential basis, exports to the US increased 19.1% MoM, while exports to China grew 20% MoM. Shipments to the UK also gained 26.1% MoM.
During 6MFY26, the United States remained Pakistan’s top export market with receipts of $3.18 billion, compared to $3.02 billion in 6MFY25. China ranked second with exports totaling $1.22 billion, down 5.6% YoY. The UK retained the third position at $1.1 billion, broadly unchanged from the same period last year.
