Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal has invited international stakeholders to invest in Pakistan’s growing healthcare sector, highlighting major opportunities in innovation, digital health, and medical technology. Speaking at the Boao Forum for Asia’s Global Health Forum in Beijing, Kamal emphasized Pakistan’s regulatory reforms and government support to ensure strong investor returns.
He showcased the recently launched digital licensing system for medical devices, which reduces approval time to just 20 days. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called it a key step toward healthcare transparency and efficiency. Kamal further stressed that with a 250 million population and advancing digital reforms, Pakistan is primed for global health partnerships.
