Karachi – August 6, 2025: UAE-based logistics giant AD Ports Group is accelerating its footprint in Pakistan with plans to develop a dedicated industrial zone near Karachi Port and Port Qasim, following the launch of its first representative office in Islamabad.
The initiative follows the signing of an MoU with Pakistan’s Board of Investment, aiming to enhance port-centric industrial and logistics infrastructure.
The new Islamabad office will serve as an operational hub for deepening public-private engagement, facilitating trade initiatives, and supporting existing port investments.
AD Ports has already committed $295 million for container, bulk, and general cargo terminal upgrades at Karachi Port’s East Wharf, under a 50-year concession.
Strategic partnerships are also being formed with Pakistan Single Window for digital trade platforms and with Bahria Foundation to strengthen marine services.
Additionally, through Noatum Logistics and KGTL, AD Ports is pursuing a multi-modal corridor connecting Pakistan to Central Asia via air, sea, and land logistics networks.
This move positions AD Ports as a long-term infrastructure partner supporting Pakistan’s trade modernization and industrial growth goals.
