Fuel Price Revision: Diesel Slashed, Petrol Unchanged

The Government of Pakistan has announced new petroleum prices effective 16 August 2025.

Petrol (MS) will remain unchanged at PKR 264.61 per litre

High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been reduced by PKR 12.84, now priced at PKR 272.99 per litre.

Kerosene Oil is cut by PKR 7.19 per litre, while Light Diesel Oil (LDO) is down by PKR 8.20 per litre.

The major relief comes in diesel, a key fuel for transport and agriculture, expected to ease inflationary pressure. The unchanged petrol price reflects stability in international oil markets.
